I am easing into 2023 like I’m snuggling up in a huge armchair with a cuppa. That’s the vibe I’m going for this season. And who says that’s right for you? No-one.
What I do and what you do are two completely different vibes. My season of coming home is your season of exploring the world.
It treats everyone as if they’re the same cookie-cutter human who wants the same from their business. It’s why I stopped business coaching (and coaching altogether) for a few years. I couldn’t understand why the habits of one human just didn’t stick for me.
Then I discovered Human Design and the Gene Keys.
Carl Jung got this when he was investigating Archetypes. We’re all following the same archetypes of life, but we all have our own experiences of those archetypes.

Let me explain.
We all have every aspect of Human Design in our chart. It’s how empathy works. Empathy is understanding how someone else is experiencing life because we have that aspect of life in our chart. When we have a Human Design/Gene Keys reading, we’re looking into our experience of life and what we’re here to learn. If we extend that into building a business, we’re doing the same thing. Looking at the principles/archetypes of business and experiencing it as our own.
It’s taken me a little while to ease into this new way of thinking. After all, the world tends to want to put us into boxes. Ugh! It takes time to decondition from what we were taught. But then it begs the question…
How do we know what to do if we don’t have a blueprint?
We follow our Human Design, AND we then get in touch with our intuition. Can you see how all this makes sense now? We have our own unique map/blueprint, and we navigate it using intuition/our highest self.
And what about business?
Well, as I said, business is built on principles, and once you know, you can pick which one you want to use. It’s pretty simple when you get your head around it.
2023 is a “coming home” for me, in so many senses of the word.
